I went to one - he took my blood pressure - looked at my tongue and in

my eyes.

He then gave me a " prescription " that I had to boil in 3 c. water for

an hour and drink - One of these concoctions each day for 10 days. I

only bought three days worth as they were $10 each and I wasn't keen

on spending $100 to find out that it didn't work.

I decided to boil it in 10 c water for three hours and ot 5 c worth of

stuff. I drank it all up (over a period of days) and did seem to see

an improvement.

Hello Dave,

Interesting input to my experience. I went to the Chinese herbalist,

but " chickened out " to take the full strength dose after hearing some

different news about Chinese herbs. There were 10 - 15 different

things in my package - each was weighed out.

I asked him what was in my prescription, and wrote it down

phonetically when he said it. Is ther any place that I could look to

compare what is actually in the packages that I have?

I wasn't told to boil more than once (after pouring off contents), but

am glad that you mentioned that boiling longer may not be optimum.

I do think that he took my blood pressure, as he used the cuff.
