Christie, I can answer one of your questions. I've used the GCG and Chinese

bitters and coptis and curcoma and although they do taste pretty horrible,

they profoundly made my flushes a lot more successful. Since things are

pretty tight financially, I cannot afford to order more at this time. As

soon as I am able I will try a flush without them to see how things go.

With the heart attack similarities - one should always assume the

worst in my opining and get it checked out. I have been to the A & E

twice and no matter what any docs tell me I will always have it in the

back of my mind that the docs have it wrong and it is the heart

causing it I think it is humane nature to worry about these things.

Saying that Gallbladder problems don't always give the classic

symptoms as my doc has explained. I have had pains all over left side

right side middle stomach - right and left chest pain and both

shoulders. But it always seems to start in the stomach area and if I

lie down and press the stomach area or the location where I believe

the gallbladder to be that I have this uncomfortable pain.

I guess if you have not done so you should get the heart check out it

is the sensible thing to do once that checks out then start looking at

the gallbladder as I think that is a very good Place to start

Best of luck

J

Subject: ?'s from a newbie

After reading some posts here and experiencing my first real attack I

have the following the ?'s.

1. If the pain from an attack can feel like a heart attack how does

one know it is truly a gallbladder attack?

-You don't.

2. For several days before I experienced the gallbladder pain I had a

constant ache in my LEFT shoulder. everything I read said right.

Anyone else experience this?

-Many, but not common.

3. One of the post I read said " try to hold onto your gallbladder as

long as possible " but several I read people decided to have the

surgery. Is this like putting a bandaid on wound that requires

stitches until you get the hospital or can you really be healed??

-If it was, I doubt this group would exist, and only time, effort, and

intestinal fortitude will tell.

4. Is there an easy way to get all these ingredients down?????

-You have been reading it.

5. I started using GCG and Coptis from sensible health, anyone else

use these? They taste horrible! I don't stick with them the way I

should and with the expense I was wondering if anyone really felt

they worked!

-If no one felt they worked, I doubt they would be posted. If they

didn't work, I doubt that anyone would feel that they did. Traditional use for

hundreds of years is either strong supporting data or the presence of a deluded

culture. What will the total cost be of having your gallbladder removed?

6. How do you know when enough is enough and go through with the

surgery? The reasons I don't want to do it are:

1. it isn't a cure, as you can still have attacks

-If your gallbladder is gone you will not have a gallbladder attack. You

might have liver pain or something else (or something worse).

2. I do not have insurance

-You may be very lucky, it puts you in a position to approach this in a

less invasive and potentially healthier manner.

3. With as many " mistakes " that are made during surgeries i would

rather not have a surgery unless I NEED it to save my life.

-The mistakes are what we hear about. They are definitely much rarer

than we think. The vast majority of doctors are superb at what they do. There

may be better reasons to avoid surgery.

7. Are the any other supplements I should include to ward off.

- High heated fats, refined carbohydrates, inorganic mineral

supplementation, lack of exercise, etc.

THANKS so much, Blessings, Christie

Christie,

Keeping your gallbladder for the rest of your life is completely doable.

It is not doable with the same lifestyle and methods that allowed the formation

of the present situation. There are other ways to take the above and other

herbs besides tinctures. However, the " natural " approach to these conditions

and most others is not tasty, convenient, nor comfortable. You may find, as I

think many others have (let's see a show of hands), that this is an

uncomfortable door into a new world, if you decide to go through it, and stay on

the other side. If not, you will then realize the answer to the question of

" when do you have it removed? " .

Archives, archives, archives.

Always, in all ways, -Dave

Christie,

Here are some of my experiences, which most I have only been having since last

August. I have had pain directly where my gall bladder is located, and also on

the left side where I believe my pancreas is located. I have had 3 or 4 panels

of blood tests, and liver, kidneys, pancreas enzymes are all within normal

range. My doc says that you can have transferring pain to other areas, when

actually it is coming from the gall bladder. I also have upper back pain on

both sides, and shooting pains right in the center of my chest. I don't have

most of these symptoms at the present. I also bought GCG, coptis, curcuma, and

chinese bitters, but haven't used them faithfully yet. I had that same question

about those chinese herbs. I've done 4 flushes, and I think they've helped.

Anyway, I think this is a wonderful group, and I hope you find the information

you need to get your body healthy. Tandra
