Guest guest
HMMMM....i'm wondering if this is all i have....i've always had such digestive problems so it could make sense....but why hasn't it gone away yet?.....i shall post everywhere and see what you guys think Well, Shefy, all I can tell you is that since I lost my GB, I sometimes get gas just like what's being described above, and not only that, my husband has had it recently the exact same way. But he had radiation treatments after his testicular cancer in Feb. of '91, and his digestive system as always been screwed up at times from that. It's because they ran the radiation therapy all the way up from his groin into his upper chest area to make sure that the awful cancer didn't travel that path. Here's what I've found for that, and usually I'm not one bit constipated at all when I've had this gas problem. I usually take one magnesium tablet and in a few minutes to 30 minutes, it breaks down and stops hurting. A few times it's been absolutely horrible and I've felt sicker than usual until I take that magnesium capsule. I usually take Solaray in that stuff. I can understand from the couple of times that I've had it hurt me so bad that I wanted to go to ER. That's since I lost my GB. But I waited it out and after that capsule, it was fine and eased up. I hope this helps. I also still take Solaray Milk Thistle. Susie
Guest guest
Shefy: Are you by any way (you think) constipated? I mean, is there a chance? The reason that I ask is that it can make it so much worse. We had to take our daughter to ER once when she was school age because she clogged up and being young, she didn't realize that that was her problem. But in school the kids never do go get to poop like they are supposed to go because they don't have enough time. Then if you're not constipated, I would still try some magnesium. If you have health insurance, I would go to the ER if it's too bad, Shefy. That's my opinion. It kind of sounds like you need some kind of work-up done to you to really check you out, possibly. I just don't know what to tell you. But one of the key things to know what to do is if you're hurting so badly, you need to be checked out. You don't want to lay around and just suffer. It's my opinion that they need to possibly observe you for a few hours anyway. Go if you need to and let us know. Susie
