Guest guest
Kim, We have used Newcastle for years in Mexico. It is often effective, but it can be problematic when used IV as some people have an anaphylactic or allergic response. We usually use it for lung cancers, for squamous cell cancers, and we have seen it help on a large percentage of ovarian cancers. Re: anyone hear of this? I'll let Hi, here is some more on newcastle virus.......... 1: Semin Oncol 2001 Aug;28(4):336-43 Cancer gene and oncolytic virus therapy. Zwiebel JA. Investigational Drug Branch, Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program, Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis, National Cancer Institute, Bethesda, MD 20892, USA. By far, cancer accounts for the majority of gene therapy trials that are being carried out worldwide. Of these, two thirds involve immunotherapy, with transfer of genes for cytokines, immune accessory molecules, or tumor antigens into a variety of cellular targets. Replicating oncolytic viruses entering the clinic include herpes virus, Newcastle disease virus, reovirus, and others. These viruses have been shown to replicate selectively in cancer cells, albeit by different mechanisms. Tumor selectivity can be achieved by placing an essential viral gene under the control of a tumor-specific promoter. The tumoricidal effects of replicating viruses may be enhanced by genetic modification-for example, by the insertion of a cytokine gene to elicit antitumor immunity. Clearly, much work needs to be done both in the laboratory and in the clinic in order to exploit the full potential of these novel gene and viral therapies. Csatary LK, Moss RW, Beuth J, Torocsik B, Szeberenyi J, Bakacs T. United Cancer Research Institute, andria, VA, USA. Newcastle Disease Virus Vaccine (MTH-68/H) was administered to patients suffering from advanced neoplastic diseases after non-efficient tumor-destructive treatment. Case reports of selected patients suggest promising effects of this treatment. A prospectively-randomized clinical study (phase III; in accordance with Good Clinical Practice, GCP) was proposed to confirm these results and is currently under consideration. Publication Types: Clinical trial PMID: 10216468 --------------------------------------------- Mol Med 1998 Dec;4(12):783-94 A 15-year follow-up of AJCC stage III malignant melanoma patients treated postsurgically with Newcastle disease virus (NDV) oncolysate and determination of alterations in the CD8 T cell repertoire. Batliwalla FM, Bateman BA, Serrano D, Murray D, Macphail S, Maino VC, Ansel JC, Gregersen PK, Armstrong CA. North Shore University Hospital-NYU School of Medicine, 350 Community Drive, Manhasset, New York, USA. BACKGROUND: The development of effective adjuvant therapies for the treatment of high-risk melanoma patients is critical for the prevention of metastatic disease and improvement of patient survival. Newcastle disease virus (NDV) oncolysate has been utilized as an adjunctive immunotherapeutic agent in the postsurgical management of these patients. A phase II study initiated in 1975 using adjuvant vaccine therapy composed of allogeneic and autologous human melanoma cells infected with live NDV (NDV oncolysate) in patients with AJCC stage III melanoma following therapeutic lymph node dissection has shown >60% survival rate at 10 years with no adverse effects. Continued long-term analysis of trials with promising early results as well as assessment of immunologic responses generated in these patients may result in improved therapeutic decisions for clinical trials in the future. Previous studies have suggested that improved outcome in patients undergoing immunotherapy is correlated with increased numbers of CD8(+)CD57(+) cells. CONCLUSIONS: The data suggest that adjuvant vaccination with NDV oncolysates is associated with prolonged survival of patients with lymph node-positive malignant melanoma and that CD8(+) T cells may be an important component of therapeutic efficacy. Guest guest
Hello Moonbeam, MTH is the type of Newcastle Virus that we use at the San Diego Clinic. I asked a scientist who is involved in its manufacture what MTH stands for. It turns out that it is an acronym for " More Than Hope, " that's what I was told anyway. From what I have been able to find out there's not much difference between the various clades of Newcastle Virus. > Anticancer Res 1999 Jan-Feb;19(1B):635-8 > Beneficial treatment of patients with advanced cancer using a > Newcastle disease virus vaccine (MTH-68/H). > > Csatary LK, Moss RW, Beuth J, Torocsik B, Szeberenyi J, Bakacs T. > > United Cancer Research Institute, andria, VA, USA. > > Newcastle Disease Virus Vaccine (MTH-68/H) was administered to patients > suffering from advanced neoplastic diseases after non-efficient tumor-destructive > treatment. Guest guest
I wouldn't touch this with a ten foot pole.......; 4.3.2.1 Slim and Detox T contains aspartame. Phenylketonurics are warned that this product contains phenylalanine. Contains glucose. Contains hydroxybenzoates. Contains sorbate(s). I leave it up to others to explain. Guest guest
Not that much about cleanin and detox. All about weight loss. The bitter orange mate and cola nut are t stimulate brown adipose tissue and the thermogenic effect. they list the herbs in three different groups to make it look like they are doing all the other things too. -Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: Rob & <mailto:wob@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Monday, January 30, 2006 4:16 AM Subject: Anyone hear of this? Guest guest
How is it possible to detox using toxins and poisons? adding more toxins does not detox search aspartame in goggle search engine the results answer for themselves I use to pull a tank truck for a living and there was a place that loaded phenylalanine onto food grade tankers. The loaders had to be specialy qualified and wear body suits the reason being that the stuff was so poisonous that if it contacted your skin in small concentration it would cause immediate death. whatever is not natural and does not come from God or that man his put his hand unto is defiled and does not have the value of the natural things that God has given us. Yet you can not patent and sell fruits, herbs or vegetables so the medical and drug community will give you a drug were as food is your best medicine. Guest guest
Our health problems now days are so often related to the contaminants and poisons that we eat with our food. That's why our livers, kidneys, and bowels are so toxic and overloaded. I shun much better food than this product because of the poisons mixed with it. I would go a step further than shunning this product. I'd shun everything else the company sells because their values for the quality of what I injest are way too far below my values.
