Guest guest
This trip to Seattle was the most beautiful present I could offer myself (except for my band, of course). Meeting over 200 hundred bandsters in two days when I had only met ONE since I got my band, can you imagine the thrill? I loved every minute of these two days. Thank you Kathy for posting pictures. I'll post mine as soon as I find the courage to transfer them to my computer. A big thank you to the bandster who had the great idea to donate the pretty black velvet dress I got from the clothing exchange. It's just the type of dress I've been dreaming to wear again! Even though it is too big, it will be very easy to take in. This trip has been an exciting experience I won't forget for years. And you know what? It took this trip to Seattle for me to finally understand why I didn't like skim milk in my coffee: What you call " coffee " is in fact coffee-flavoured milk! So our tastes are sot so different after all (try to add some skim milk to a strong ristretto the way we prepare them in Italy or in Switzerland, I bet you won't like the result either!) Now that I got the trick, I prepare myself nice, large " latte " too. I even use the hand mixer with the flat dingy to beat my skim milk to the consistency of wipped cream (which sometimes makes me burp very unladilyke (in Switzerland) 10/23/2003 Dr Dargent 276/181 (yes I gained while in the States, alas)/176 next goal
