Guest guest
Last week I was over in Olympia making a visit to Harbor Freight (I DIDN'T NEED ANYTHING SO BOUGHT NOTHING!!!!!). Next door was Paco's Tacos. I went in and had two small tacos, one with tongue and one with a sort of gyros pork. I thought I'd been careful to chew thoroughly but apparently I hadn't and the tongue came back up over next hour or two. Plus it left a sort of barnyard taste in my mouth (similar in concept to taste you get after you smell the wood pencil shavings in a pencil sharpener. Next day I took GF there, they were supposed to have " pozole " there but somebody forgot to buy the hominy. Anyway we had two delicious chimichangas there, we should have split one but instead each ate half and then brought rest home for dinner. Paco's Tacos is a small but very clean place. They have a somewhat traditional menu of mexican fast food and do take out as well as dine in. I was getting flashbacks to that Mexican fast food place across street from hospital where DR KURI did my band. When I was there they had such appealing vegetables but fearing the " Aztec two step " I abstained except for limes squeezed on tortillas. There is also a mexican bakery there, some really tempting things but I only was tempted...didn't fall. It's a neat place and worth checking out, food is quite reasonably priced and service is great. If you missed eating mexican food in TJ or Monterey, you can come close here. Larry Murray
