Talking about TSH levels, my TSH was 150 when first diagnosed. I only

found this out after getting a copy of my medical records. My GP

recknoned it was the worst he had ever seen and could not believe that

I worked full time and went to the gym 3 days a week. I only went to

see my GP because my sister nagged me to death, she had underactive

thyroid too and she thought I had classic symptoms (weight gain,

consitpation, aching joints and muscles). Goes to show hey, I thought

I was just not aging very well. 8 months later, I have lost 3 and a

half stone, and feel okay. Still room for improvement though.

I cant begin to think how you people must have felt with TSH levels that high!! I didnt think they could go that high, I felt bad when mine was around 8!

I came across a woman on another site whos tsh was 210. I did not

really feel that bad when TSH was 150. I was 43 at the time, I did

feel a bit tired but just put it down to getting old/menopause kind

of stuff. The worst thing I suffered from was cramping in my thigh

and calf muscles when I was walking/exercising and constipation but

again put it down to lack of minerals/fibre or something. I finally

went to see a nutritionist and that combined with my siser nagging

made me go for a blood test. The rest is history.

Lynn,

Are you being treated for your extremely high TSH level?

If not, I would go and seek the advice of a doctor as soon as

possible. I doubt that anyone on the forum could determine what your

profuse sweating is due to and that you should seek medical advice.

Hi P,

Spectacular TSH is not that unusual- I was diagnosed with a TSH of

126! It all depends on how sensitive and powerful your pituitary is.
