Guest guest
> Talking about TSH levels, my TSH was 150 when first diagnosed. I only found this out after getting a copy of my medical records. My GP recknoned it was the worst he had ever seen and could not believe that I worked full time and went to the gym 3 days a week. I only went to see my GP because my sister nagged me to death, she had underactive thyroid too and she thought I had classic symptoms (weight gain, consitpation, aching joints and muscles). Goes to show hey, I thought I was just not aging very well. 8 months later, I have lost 3 and a half stone, and feel okay. Still room for improvement though. a > Hi Lynn, > I can't seem to find your original message. Would you mind re- > posting it? I didnt think they could go that high, I felt bad when mine was around 8! Talking about TSH levels, my TSH was 150 when first diagnosed. Guest guest
> I came across a woman on another site whos tsh was 210. I did not really feel that bad when TSH was 150. I was 43 at the time, I did feel a bit tired but just put it down to getting old/menopause kind of stuff. The worst thing I suffered from was cramping in my thigh and calf muscles when I was walking/exercising and constipation but again put it down to lack of minerals/fibre or something. I finally went to see a nutritionist and that combined with my siser nagging made me go for a blood test. The rest is history. a > Gee. I'm amazed that you could do anything at all! Guest guest
Lynn, Are you being treated for your extremely high TSH level? If not, I would go and seek the advice of a doctor as soon as possible. I doubt that anyone on the forum could determine what your profuse sweating is due to and that you should seek medical advice. Guest guest
Hi P, Spectacular TSH is not that unusual- I was diagnosed with a TSH of 126! It all depends on how sensitive and powerful your pituitary is. Subject: message to Lynn about your really high TSH level Hi Lynn, I can't seem to find your original message. Would you mind re- posting it? Your TSH level of >100 is the highest I've heard of. P ....................................... Subject: My Blood results , TSH >100 T4 <5.1 T3 2.13 can somebody explain in simple terms what this means. Lynn ------------------------------------ Messages are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult with a suitably qualified practitioner before changing medication.
