what happened to my fill?

Hi,

I was wondering if this is normal. I get a fill and it seems good for about 2

weeks, then, I feel like it gets loose again. I haven't been loosing much

weight at all. I've only lost about 20 lbs since my June 3rd surgery. I can't

seem to get this fill thing right and I've had about 5 fills.

Is this common?

I don't have a leak, they checked it by taking out the fluid and measuring it.

No, not by fluro.

Re: what happened to my fill?

Racheal, have you had a fill under fluoro? Sounds like you could have a

leak. You should have the doctor check that.

How much fill do you have, and in what band? If you've had 5 tiny

fills with an ultra-conservative doc, for instance, you simply may

not have enough. Also, if you are more sensitive to fills that some,

you may have more swelling right after a fill, which mimics real

restriction - then, when that resolves, there is not enough

restriction.

How did they test for a leak? A slow leak needs a special dye test

with fluoro to discover - the docs takes several fluoro pictures over

a week after a fill to see if the dye has leaked out. Sandy R
