Sorry, but I do not do fills on patients banded by Dr. Shrikanth or Dr. Oh.

And after the first of the year I won't be taking on any more new patients

banded in Mexico or elsewhere either. I will however, continue to serve the

people I already have commitments with. I.e., established patients. In

other words, if I have done your fill before and you want to see me again

I'd be glad to help you.

I am really trying to get people to choose to stay in the states for banding

and am doing everything in my power to help people get insurance coverage

for this procedure. If you choose to use our facility in Kirkland you will

get the best possible care. If you choose to use another surgeon you are

responsible for arranging your own follow-up as best you can. Which has

always been the case. I'm just withdrawing from the option pool.

I totally agree with what you said about not getting a fill on Friday! I

have been available to do unfills at my house on the weekends to avoid those

emergency room charges but I'd really rather you just pick Monday, Tuesday,

Wednesday for your fill day. Most of the time we can hit a good amount but

sometimes it's too little and sometimes it's too much. There's a tendency

to fill somebody a bit tighter if they come a long way because you don't

want to make them come twice. And the post-fill swelling is UNPREDICTABLE.

I wish this was a more exact science. But then I know you all feel the same

way about it.

The next North end soup night is 1/21 at Northgate mall at 6:30 in the food
