I absolutely agree with seajoan, thompsonnlt & awayfrmitall. This

groups charter, as stated on the home page, is:

" This group is a spinoff of the regular bandster groups and is used

primarily for announcements, notices and brief discussion of topics

specifically of interest to those in the Pacific Northwest. General

banding discussion is best done on our parent list, SmartBandsters. "

Personnally, I recall one or two very brief (some might say curt)

messages redirecting my support & discussion questions to

SmartBandsters and other groups. Those groups answered all my

questions and provided lots of information (recipes, bandster rules,

pb'ing, reflux, etc, etc.).

I have, on occasion, posted meeting minutes and brief narrative from

our local Eastern WA meetings, and received some comment that such

notes were welcome. And, I would read such posts from the secretary

of other local meetings should they choose to share.

Lately, it seems the announcements, notices and PNW topics are much

harder (but not impossible) to find. If there's been a change away

from the PNW charter, perhaps moderators should explain. Thanks,
