Guest guest
After reading all of the cool stuff from the Myers book that Lynn has posted it seems that natural sources might be best for getting synergistic effects of zinc, magnesium, iodine, etc. Here is an article I found that suggests that winter milk is a better source of iodine than summer milk, yet if you are WAPF you know the value of the summer milk. So seasonal differences can contribute to the " whole " quality of whole food, also. http://www.nature.com/ejcn/journal/v57/n5/abs/1601590a.html Supplementation may be necessary to heal an acute situation and/or rebuild reserves, but maintenance seems best left to Mother Nature's nourishing whole foods. THe NEEDS.com site has an article on using iodine as a casien bound product but then they don't sell it????DUH...will call tomorrow on that. I can't find a product like that anywhere for sale but can find references to it. So...maybe someone else here will have more luck!
