Guest guest
Hello all you wizards on adrenals. The following are the results of one of our members and are open to comment please. For those using Rich Text, you should get these results in a neat table - for those using Plain Text - you will probably get them all over the place, so apologies for that. Guest guest
Hi Sheila, This isn’t good! Both lines are too flat. The 8am should be much higher than the others supplementation needed? Guest guest
I agree with , this looks like a pretty poorly person. I'd be looking at supplimentation of DHEA and HC but it's really recommended to do this under medical supervision so if this person's GP won't help perhaps they should see Dr Peatfield? Guest guest
hey guys, these are my adrenal results taken about 6 months ago. I am taking NAE, which give me much more energy during the day, but they tend to make me feel a bit anxious and jittery, i think because they contain adrenaline. And I also find it hard to get to sleep on time. Would it be advisable for me to take another adrenal glandular (eg. the one by Thorne, or Allergy research as they don't contain adrenaline)? Or perhaps isocort? or DHEA as My DHEA is much lower than my cortisol on the test results? The NAE do make me feel much better than without out them. I think it has a lot to do with the Armour as well, making it easier for my body to use or whatever it does with the Armour. But I just would like to feel less anxious and jittery when I take them. Anyway, any answers would be appreciated as I really don't have a clue about the different supplements. I've got a phone call with Dr. P on wed so I can always ask him then, but I really want to order something as soon as so I can start taking it. thanks, Jonny > > Luv - Sheila > > > NPTECH SERVICES - LABORATORY REPORT > Date: > 08/11/2007 11:20 AM > > Patient Name: > XXZXXX > Practitioner: > > > Address: > CXXZXXX > Address: > > Date of Birth: > 22.9.87 > Date Sample Received > 1.11.07 > Lab No: > 117011 > > > Test > 8.00am > 12 Noon > 4.00pm > Midnight > > > Salivary > Testosterone 175 - 735 pmol/L > Reference Range (pol/L) > > > 443 > 372 > 362 > 221 > > > Test > 8.00am > 12 Noon > 4.00pm > Midnight > > > Salivary > Cortisol 12.0 to 33.0 > 10.0 to 28.0 > 6.0 to 11.8 > 1.0 to 5.0 > Reference Ranges (nmol/L) > > 11.1* > 15.1 > 12.6* > 5.0 > > > Salivary DHEA Sulphate 8.00am > 12 Noon > 4.00pm > Midnight > FEMALE > > Age Range > nmol/L > MALE > > Age Range > nmol/L > > 4.8* > 5.1* > 3.9* > 2.6* > 20-24 > 6 to 29 > 20-24 > 6 to 29 > > > > > > 25-34 > 6 to 24.3 > 25-34 > 6 to 26.4 > > > > > > 35-44 > 5 to 24 > 35-44 > 5.2 to 25.1 > > > > > > 45-54 > 4 to 18.3 > 45-54 > 4.5 to 19.4 > > > > > > 55-64 > 3.5 to 14.6 > 55-64 > 4 to 17.3 > > > > > > > 65-74 > 3.6 to 14 > 65-74 > 3.8 to 14.4 > > > > > > > >75 > 3 to 11 > >75 > 3.5 to 7.1 > > > > > > > Age not provided > > > > > > > > > Comments: > > Salivary testosterone: all values within male normal reference range > > Salivary Cortisol profile: erratic hormone output - the 8am result is below reference range (this should be the highest value of the day, gradually falling to midnight); 4pm result also slightly above reference range > > Salivary DHEA-s profile: all values below male, age-related reference range >
