Guest guest
, I have a question about the TSH ranges listed as normal in Dr. Brownstein's book IODINE: Why You Need It. On pages 144 and 218, it says 0.2-4.7mU/l is normal, On page 148 it says the normal TSH level ranges from 0.5-4.5mU/l. Aside from the inconsistency in the ranges cited in the book, why doesn't Dr. Brownstein use the 2003 AACE range, 0.3-3.0? Why is he perpetuating the outdated ranges that misclassify those with a TSH between 3.0 and 4.7 as normal? Also, Dr. Brownstein refers to serum/saliva tests that help determine if the NIS is working okay. It sounds like these tests are available to his patients now. Will they be available to other people soon? Lynn
