Guest guest
I can relate to the restaurant pre-planning. We had a Bandsters Soup at a local Red Lobster recently. I've actually never eaten at RL, but I went online that afternoon and checked out their menu. I was happy to find a special " Light House " menu with lower fat, lower carb options and they even gave the nutritional values for the meals & dressings & sides. I preplanned my dinner and knew what to order when I got there. If a restaurant doesn't have an online menu, call them and see if they'll fax/email the menu to you that day for pre-planning. Unfortunately, when I got to RL, we were a huge group and it took quite a while to get our food. I fell for the temptation to eat a cheese biscuit and wish I hadn't. I need a plan for that. If I'm alone or with hubby I can ask them to not bring the bread basket or take it away when he's done, whatever. I can't do that with a large group of casual acquaintances so I need to prepare in my head for that situation. This Southern girl LOVES her some biscuits, so it's a tough thing to give up when it's sitting in front of you wafting heavenly scents. Maybe I should take some stark photos of my thighs to keep in my wallet and look at before eating the bread! (just kidding) a //I began early in the day trying > to remember what else was on that menu and prayed they had some sort of veggies. //

Guest guest
Get a biscuit stuck and you'll learn to hate them, no matter how they smell. The VERY worst I ever got anything stuck was on a bite of biscuit. Four hours of pure hell. Wouldn't go up, or down. Just sat there like a clogged toilet. dan Friday, October 8, 2004, 11:17:16 AM, you wrote: K> This Southern girl LOVES her some biscuits, so it's a K> tough thing to give up when it's sitting in front of you wafting K> heavenly scents. Guest guest
I agree with you, Dan. Anything that really gets good and stuck becomes much less appetizing in the future!!!!
