Guest guest
Has anyone here tried out Cabot's liver tonic? I would like to try it but wanted to get some comments from anyone who has used it. Hi, Lori: Yes, I've tried both kinds. I haven't taken it in some time, but I found the Livatone (sp?) helped me the most. I guess it's whatever your needs are. What's the name of the other one? Well, I can't remember right now. Is it Livatone Plus? When I had my GB and was having problems, I used to have problems with constipation a whole lot, and it surely did help me. Guest guest
Lori, I have tried the Livatone Plus and found it made my liver uncomfortable-I don't know if that was a good or bad thing. Jeanne W.
Guest guest
Lori: I too took Livatone Plus and it didn't agree with me. However, I think that they may have improved it or something. Livatone really did help me. I didn't have any problem with it. Now, if you've got gallstones, it may be important for you to try Beta-TCP. You can't get it just anywhere. It's only sold to healthcare professionals of some sort to sell to the public. Biotics Research puts it out. I used to buy mine from myvits.com. It's a chiropractor out of CA. I may be buying some Beta Plus from him soon because it helps people who have no gallbladders. But that Beta-TCP helped me quite a bit. I first heard about Beta-TCP from Dr. Mercola's Web site. You might go there and search for gallbladder problems and Beta-TCP. He gives it to all his patients who have GB problems. Hope this helps, Susie

Guest guest
Thanks for the responses so far. I'm trying the Livatone at first (especially since constipation is constant issue with me unless I eat nothing but fruit but then my teeth go bad ... sighhhh ... ). The lady I spoke with was very helpful in helping me figure out which to try first. Lori
