YoYo Lapbanding - First Fill question...

Hey everybody,

Im bummed out. For the last several weeks I have been doing this

yoyo thing. For 3 weeks I didnt exercise, ate like crap, drank

sugar, etc...and gained 3 lbs during that time.

Then I got motivated, exercised 4 times, ate good, little sugar

stuff, no sugar drinks, and lost 4 lbs in one week.

In the last week Ive overeaten, (slowly but surely) exercised 3

times (25-30 minutes fastwalk on the treadmill), drank booze at the

Bash, drank sugar a few times, eaten desserts...and guess what? I

gained 4 lbs....THIS SUCKS!

Now, Ive been banded for almost 11 months and not had a single fill

yet...didnt need it. Ive lost about 125 lbs during that time, so Im

doing great...but Ive been slacking off lately, resting on my

success.

I think its time for my first fill. My friend pointed out that Im

not using this wonderful tool Ive been given...Im trying to do this

the old fashioned way, by will power...

But Im super busy, working 12-16 hours a day, and cant take time to

get down to Mexico for my first fill, for at least another

month...and this being my first fill, Im scared that something could

go wrong and Id be screwed...I run my own business, and cant screw

up or I lose it all....no kidding.

So my question is this...should I make time to get down to Dr Kuri

for my first fill, or should I go the local route with Dr

Fitzpatrick?

Either way, I would be giving myself plenty of time...several

days...to get adjusted to the new fill before flying back to

Portland from Mexico/SoCal...money isent the issue, time is.

What would you do for your first fill?
