Guest guest
Well stones in the kidney are usually calcium based and you can have calcium based stones in the gallbladder as well. Fyi drink a lot more water is one way to help here---(hubby has kidney stones) but not all kidney stones can be passed easily and I am surprised they are not doing more for you. Especially if you have a stuck kidney stone. This site will help- http://kidney.niddk.nih.gov/kudiseases/pubs/stonesadults/ Make sure when you have this next cat scan they scan your gallbladder as well---I had it all done----kidney, liver, GB and female parts. and only had stones in my GB. MUST TELL THEM YOU WANT THIS!!!!!!!!!!! the only way to know if you have stones in the GB is a ultrasound, catscan or MRI. so no one can really guess because your pain can all be just from the kidney alone!!!!!!!!!! and the kidney pain is very painfull----they should be doing more for you!!!!!!!!!!!! I would go to another hospital---just my opinion----tina > > Hi guys - > > This may get lengthy, but I need some insight from REAL people. > > One month ago exactly I went to the ER with severe and sudden > abdominal pains (in my right side and upper abdomin, right above my > belly button). Guest guest
, I have experienced ovary problems, had one ovary split at the age of 14. I've been plagued by female problems a great deal so that is why I can say I never experienced pain higher than the lower abdomen (bellow button and down area) and lower back area with ovary problems. I've had severe pain, even passed out before from menstrual cramps I know how bad it can be. But so can gallbladder pain it can make you cry and pass out..............For me the gallbadder pain was upper abdomen area, right side some and left side some of the time and I got nausea and pain in the upper back area. The pressure feeling like being twisted is another symptom of GB troubles. Your pain doesn't sound like ovary problems to me. Dee
Guest guest
Only problem here is that cheaper is not always safe. If she has a stuck stone in her kidney depending on the size it may not pass and it should therefore be decreased in size and that can mean trying different options. Most doctors will allow you to pass kidney stones unless they are very large---hubby had to take a lot of pain pills until his passed. But this is not every case. It's important to always have all the info before you risk your health and life!!!!And money should never been an issue!!!!!! > > > > > > Hi guys - > > > > > > This may get lengthy, but I need some insight from REAL people. > > > > > > One month ago exactly I went to the ER with severe and sudden > > > abdominal pains (in my right side and upper abdomin, right above > > my > > > belly button). Guest guest
all I know is what I can say happened to me---yes I had the same kind of pain you did and yes they went all over my abdomen all in one cat scan and found the GB stones. what can happen when you are younger is they don't expect you to have GB stones so instead of checking for them they do everything but. It's difficult when you are younger and don't fit the criteria for a specific disease state. So we must fight and take control for our own health!!!! Best of luck for you and please post the info!!!! tina > > > > > > > > Hi guys - > > > > > > > > This may get lengthy, but I need some insight from REAL people. > > > > > > > > One month ago exactly I went to the ER with severe and sudden > > > > abdominal pains (in my right side and upper abdomin, right > above > > > my > > > > belly button).
