Guest guest
Another big problem with soy is that it depresses thyroid function. I count soy as the main reason I went severely hypo and gained 100 lbs. I also would advise against giving children soy. Yeah, I just marched my child to the local health center without giving it a second thought. (A nice clean health center, for the next round of shots, we moved and I didn't think the STD infected people bode well for the cleanliness of the place, so I left quickly and went to a doctor instead.) The schools even make you get a waiver for not giving the chicken pox vaccine, can you imagine that? It's not just shots that might be vital, it's even chicken pox. Always make sure your child gets a lot of vitamin C before vaccination. Nick Regush (redflagsdaily.com) mentioned that might be one reason some children are so badly affected by shots, the lack of Vitamin C in many. Making sure iodine levels are kept up might also help. Guest guest
This is why all soy formulas are now supplemented with Zinc.
