Another big problem with soy is that it depresses thyroid function.

I count soy as the main reason I went severely hypo and gained 100 lbs.

I also would advise against giving children soy.

Yeah, I just marched my child to the local health center without giving it a

second thought. (A nice clean health center, for the next round of shots,

we moved and I didn't think the STD infected people bode well for the

cleanliness of the place, so I left quickly and went to a doctor instead.)

The schools even make you get a waiver for not giving the chicken pox

vaccine, can you imagine that? It's not just shots that might be vital,

it's even chicken pox.

Always make sure your child gets a lot of vitamin C before vaccination.

Nick Regush (redflagsdaily.com) mentioned that might be one reason some

children are so badly affected by shots, the lack of Vitamin C in many.

Making sure iodine levels are kept up might also help.

This is why all soy formulas are now supplemented with Zinc.
