Hello Everyone:

I know I've been kinda quiet lately, but I'm here now.

It's been rough without ya'll. I miss everyone. The

chit chatting and the smiling faces...the sad faces

too. Unfortunately, it took me needing help to come

out. Many of you offered to help in anyway possible.

I'm afraid I'm gonna take ya'll up on it.

I'm seriously considering the Mid Band. Do any of you

know of Dr. Joya in Puerto Vallarta. Have you

had experience with the Doc or heard of an experience.

I really need to know. I have surgery scheduled for

next week.

Don't get me wrong, I love Dr. Kuri and trust his

abilities whole-heartedly, without any doubts. I

prefer to have the Mid Band this time around. I had a

lot of physical problems while being Banded with

the Lap Band. I'm not saying my problems were caused

by the Lap Band itself or that I wouldn't have had the

problems with a different type of Band. I just feel

strongly about trying the Mid-Band for me. Deciding to

go to someone other than Dr. Kuri was as difficult as

they come. Having surgery with Dr. K. is as good as it

gets. I have no fears or concerns whatsoever in his

abilities, which is comforting and gives me peace of

mind while going under. He just doesn't work with the

Mid-Band.
