Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm abit of dilemma & need some advice. My Amour thyroid came in the post this morning. I want to take it cos I feel so bad. No improvement on thyroxine. The problem is, I have a blood test on Thursday morning & was thinking if I take it upto Tuesday will it give a false reading on my T3 results. I'm having full thyroid profile done with NPtech. Bloods being drawn by my GP. So my question is can I take the Amour thyroid until my blood test Thursday? Or should I wait until after I have taken the test? If you say I can take it, should I start on 1/2gram per day for 7 days or 1/2g twice a day. Or as it is nearly 2pm, just 1/2gram today? I brought 1/2 bottles of 100tabs. Really would value your opinion. Thanks x
Guest guest
Hi I did write to you privately saying it was best not to start taking any thyroid hormone replacement whatsoever until after you have your blood drawno on Thursday. Good luck. I hope you get the result you want. Luv - Sheila Hi everyone,I'm abit of dilemma & need some advice. My Amour thyroid came in the post this morning. I want to take it cos I feel so bad.
