Guest guest
I have heard that Cod Liver Oil is like HC. Is this true? -- Re: Research Help - Interaction of Iodine, Vit A & the thyroid Know anything about people not being able to tolerate cod liver oil? It's the one supplement that I have problems with. Every time I try to take it, it causes heart palps. I don't have any problems with beta carotene. Does it with or without taking iodine also. Guest guest
This was the article that I found as well but my question is HOW does Vitamin A help iodine get into the cells. I know it helps the thyroid produce hormones but what is the mechanism? > > http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0860/is_n12_v51/ai_8199677
Guest guest
Much of the research on vitamin A, iodine and the thyroid has been done by Zimmermann. Here is a link to some of his research: http://iodine4health.com/special/nutrients/vitamins/zimmermann_vita.htm Other research on vitamin A can be accesses by the left column of links.
