Guest guest
, Funny you should ask about my water intake because that is a big part of my symptomatology. I am never ever thirsty and I know this is part of my endocrine problems. I only drink when I must mix my ultimate alkalizer powder into some water to get it into me or when I have to mix my vitamin C powder in water to get it into me. Other than that, I drink one or two cups of green tea per day. I am never ever thirsty and would have to force myself to drink more water. Do you think this ammonia stuff is from dehydration? ammonia smell in urine Since starting Iodoral, I have a VERY strong ammonia smell in my urine and on my underwear. Guest guest
You are not drinking enough at all! You will not be thirsty if severely dehydrated. You will be tired, achy and your body will not detoxify the junk out. Your adrenals will struggle as well. You should be drinking at least 3 quarts a day - more if you are overweight. You should take your weight and divide it in 2. That is the number of ozs you should be drinking. I had to force myself to do it in the beginning. I didn't drink much all day. Cup of coffee and maybe some juice. Nothing other than that. I was very dehydrated when my Dr tested me. B.My Ebay Auctions: http://tinyurl.com/o9nqvMY SOY CANDLE STORE IS OPEN! I would say there's no question, you are dehydrated, but one must be careful of adrenal status. I'll say if one has an adrenal problem they will be dehydrated regardless or water intake. It tends to cause frequent urination (not always, but the closer you get to 's Disease level, the more likely it is) , and the more water one drinks, the more it simply gets excreted. People running marathons have died because they've sweated out their salt, and drink too much water. You need sodium to live. (You need cholesterol to live too, but they'll be happy to lower it with statins.) That's why some with low adrenals don't like to drink water. That and the fact, the more water they drink, the further the sodium balance is depleted, even if it looks normal on labs, it may not be so. I never felt when I drank water that it was actually hydrating me, because it wasn't. I was never really thirsty either. I just drank water because I was supposed to. So, I would take some to my desk and sip a little bit at a time. It's really not healthy for someone with low adrenals to drink excessive amounts of water, as this just depletes the sodium, and makes them feel worse. I hated the taste of it. I tried all kinds and only when I started taking sea salt at 1/2-1 tsp twice a day did water start tasting good to me. I now drink about 3 quarts a day and even though my adrenals are healed, I still take sea salt in OJ 1/2 tsp every morning, and this keeps me hydrated and feeling healthy. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
Tell me about it. I love my water juice tea and coffee. For the last 2 years I have had low sodium and am in the bathroom every hour at least.Fluids may lower my sodium more but to go without is worse.I finally ordered iosocort this morning to see if this is adreal or not.I don't have any hyper symptoms and am up to 2 1/2 grains of armour after only 5 weeks.Because of lack of symtoms I didn't think this was adrenal.Yesterday though I did feel a little shaky, I just figured this was 1 to many coffees I guess I was wrong. How bad is the caffine when your taking armour? Guest guest
You sure seem extemely dehydrated to me. 3 quarts of water a day is good for someone weighing 200 pounds. Not in tea, with vitamin C, or other powders. But 3 full quarts of pure water each and every day. In the hot summer months, I drink 6 quarts of water. Guest guest
Exuding ammonia smell is what precipitated my health issues. I even developed a tear in my cartilage in my knee... I was so dehydrated it turns out that my joints even became dried out. I bought a body water % sensing scale by Soehnle called the RIO. It takes the guessing out of the equation. It is the best health tracking device I have ever bought. It costs about $99. It also checks body fat % and muscle %. Salt and minerals allowed the cells to retain the water clearly shown with the use of this scale.
