Hi Barbara, I don't want to speak out of turn but are you sure you're

physically ready for a baby? I'm just saying this because you don't

feel like you've found the right dosage of armour yet and also the

NAE was helping you and you've come off it. You need all the energy

you can get when it comes to having babies! Ruth x

s taking NAE for 5 months from January this year and felt a lot

better on it. However, as hubby and I are also TTC I have stopped

taking it as it's not safe to take in pregnancy and I don't want to

take any risks if I was to fall pregnant and still be taking NAE.

However, I am finding a big difference being off it so was wondering

if anyone knows of a safe alternative?

in January and have been on armour ever since. I'm now up to 4

grains per day, but don't think I'm quite " there " yet.

Hi Cassie - NAE is Nutri Adrenal Extra and its available from http://www.yournutritionshop.co.uk/

They are a really good company Ive found - when I thought an order hadnt arrived they were going to send a replacement no questions asked - it had arrived within a couple of days, Id just got confused with another order from another company - they were really nice and I was very impressed!

Orders arrive very quickly and its not very expensive.

Hi Ruth

You should not take NAE if you are hoping to become pregnant, nor if you ARE pregnant.

Hi Sheila - I'm guessing you don't know of any " safe " alternatives then?

Hi Ruth - I completely understand what you're saying. However, I

don't have much time left to try for a family and as I've been

underactive and " functioning " for 13+ years I figure the family is

more important at this juncture.

Not to say my thyroid isn't, but I'm not as bad as some on here and I

can function OK on levo if I do get pg and go back to that.

Thanks for the thoughts and concern though.

:-)

HI Ba\rbara

I am sure there must be something you can 'safely' take and this is probably Siberian Ginseng, Citamin C 1000mgs, Liquorice that will help boost your adrenals. Do remember though that if you DO become pregnant, you will need to increase your dose of thyroxine.##Luv - Sheila

Thanks so much Sheila. I will look into Siberian Ginseng, upping my

Vitamin C and liquorice (I hope there's a tablet form for that as I

hate the stuff! LOL!)

Many thanks for your help.
