Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I spent the weekend checking the FILES and links. When I went to Dr. Flechas' website I found a story about a woman who had a very painful scalp prior to being treated with iodine. That stopped me cold because I did too. I use past tense because when I read that and a couple of other stories about skin problems due to iodine deficiencies I ran right out to the vitamin shoppe and bought some liquid kelp. I also ordered the Lugol, but didn't want to wait for it to arrive. I also have some painful rashes which break out on my face in concert with what's going on with my scalp. About a year ago, my fibrocystic breast became painful and lumpy most of the time, but especially if I didn't get enough sleep. My face and scalp were also covered with these rashes on more than off. So I took the dropper and liberally painted the rashes on my face. The first thing I noticed was that within four hours or so, my face didn't sting so much. I did the same thing before I went to bed. The next morning, my rashes were crusting over (healing), my scalp was pain free and my breast are less lumpy and aren't painful. I'ave I wanted to write this in all caps, because I'm ecstatic!! I' can't wait for my Lugol to get here. My question is should I still do the iodine urinalysis? Is the test something I should do periodically? Where do I start? Thank God you all are here! He didn't order another on my labs for next month so I am going to ask. If he isn't running it I will try to do the loading test. I have been on 50 mg Iodoral for 2 mos now. My boost came from amalgam removal but I am wondering if part of it is that the iodine is getting in better too.
