Yes and 1 drop

of Lugol’s is 6.25 mg. The problem with drops of Lugol’s that

I see is that the drop method is not as accurate. That is why the Iodoral

helps as well as avoiding gastric upset. My idea is that once I have my

body saturated, I will go to the drops as I don’t mind the taste and they

don’t upset my stomach. At that time, I won’t feel the

necessity for accuracy. My iodine loading test will be mailed to

Flechas’ lab next Monday. My brother who has prostate cancer is

doing the test as well.

I don't see accuracy as that important. 40 times the RDA vs. 50 times the

RDA. Does it really have a siginficance?

I can see accuracy as important during the loading test. I don't see it

important for anything else.

My suspicion is some drops are 6.5 mg, some 6.0 mg, so in the long run it's

really not going to make a difference. Except to the wallet.

I agree with you Skipper regarding savings to the pocket book and accuracy.

Some people can't take the drops because the iodine irritates their stomach.

Some, like my brother can't be bothered to put the drops in water to take

them. He prefers the tablets.
