have you taken your nasty pills today. Ouch that hurt. What I was trying

to express was that the band obviously doesn't help this situation and I am

disappointed in the band and myself. I, like many other banded folk, chose the

band as our last resort. For 42 years I have been fat due to my eating habits.

No other diet has every worked so figured the band would restrict how much I

could eat. Unfortunately, I can eat a lot no matter how restricted but what it

has done is to restrict the " What I can eat " . For this reason, I have become

inventive in my snacking because I have chosen to not buy crap. I was hoping and

presumed that more than 50% of other banded folk must experience the same thing.

Maybe they have found the strength to overcome their weaknesses. Having the band

put in place must be a mind thing for them but my mind is still in the same

framework it has always been in. In hindsight, I should not have asked for

advice but felt like venting my frustrations. I!

did address my email to Dan when I caught him online and had not presumed a

response from the rest of the group. Sorry if I offended. So please, no-one get

on my case and tell me " The band is just a tool or just because you can doesn't

mean you should " . These remind of when I have dieted a thousand times and all

the do gooders put their pennies in the pot. Guess I just have to try harder

like every other diet I have been on and admire those that are succeeding.

Sorry little down on the whole thing at the moment.
