Guest guest
I think the ipad is BRILLIANT for kids of all ages! I have been caring for my two young nieces, and it has been wonderful for them. I give one of them my itouch, and the other the ipad and they stay entertained for hours. I am fascinated to see my 3 year old niece know just how to work it to make her games and shows come on! There are tons of wonderful aps available for children too! Guest guest
I love my iPad, the only drawback is that it doesn't as yet support flash. But I have ripped and loaded movies & some tv shows on mine plus some of my audio books. I can tell you I had to spend the night in the hospital two weeks ago and my movies on my iPad got me thru the night.Plus I could turn on cellular data and get email and surf the web. All I needed was an electrical outlet just in case I needed to recharge. I didn't. The battery life I very very good.Terry(3G Wi-Fi 64gb)Sent from my iPadOn Oct 12, 2010, at 9:16 PM, Beth <mykidsintow@...> wrote: iPad is coming via Santa to our house. Guest guest
We are a total mac home. And Lea Ann' you have inspired me to get busy. I haven't worked on my website in over a year, since my domain got screwed and I just gave up. It used to be terrypogue.com but now it's http://www.terryanddave.com/Terry/If you'd like to see me and one of my dearies go to Smalldog link, the rest of the links...cooking etc work but my main site for audio books will trap you forever. I used to write code in plain text but decided to learn a program. I tried GoLive for a couple of years because it was an adobe product and I'm a heavy Photoshop user. I never could get with GoLive and got Dreamweaver which I like quite a lotEnough of this <g>Sent from my iPadOn Oct 12, 2010, at 8:41 PM, <kareningotham@...> wrote: I've never even owned a PC--my computers have always been Macs. I'll do that, and I need to also post a list to your Group on my website - it is such a pain to update that I procrastinate updating my website but I WILL do it - soon - I promise - soon ;-) BTW, I'm taking on an extra show (I wanted to take the rest of Oct. off, but my boss asked me to go to Atlanta to cover for a demonstrator who pulled a muscle in her lower back and has to be on 6-8 weeks of bed rest!!! I'm going to use the extra $$$ to get myself an iMac and it has a website editor that is killer - my new website is gonna ROCK - but it will probably be after Christmas before I actually learn the new software and get it all switched over... Guest guest
I was a bit concerned about flash at first, but so many sites are switching to HTML5, which is supported. CNN, CBS, and other news stations have aps now that are supported, and more are jumping on the bandwagon. About the only thing I can't view on the ipad are some of the silly emails that get forwarded from contacts, but I can live with that-I have seen enough jet skiing dogs to last me a lifetime anyway From: Lea Ann Savage <lsavage@...> Subject: Re: Intro...
