Guest guest
Who would have thought this would be my first post-about flatulence!! BUT(no pun)-for those of you with the problem-are you eating a lot of SOY? I found that to be the most explosive food when I was trying one of those prepackaged diets. Guest guest
mary, i agree that there are lots of foods that can help with gas....broccoli is one, cabbage, etc. for me it doesnt matter....but i hadnt realized that soy causes gas too. oy. Guest guest
I apologise for my original post regarding flatulence. It seems to have got everybody confessing. I'm sure and Dan are not looking forward to meeting all the women now they have " too much information " . Anyhow this will be my last post on the matter but I definitely do not eat soy. After being banded for only 3 months my diet has not changed a lot, only cut things out. Maybe the gas is created in the empty cravass that used to be my stomach full of food. Who knows!!!! Guest guest
michelle, no need to apologize on my account. this is one consequence of the lapband so i think its fair game for discussion. i like to kid around and i try to make it obvious when i do (use of smileys etc) and i enjoy the back and forth...even when boys will be boys!!! so i have not had a problem at all with this thread..... Guest guest
Hi Diane I look forward every night to checking the discussions/banter between you, Dan, and Sandy. I think you are all hillarious. I really enjoy this group and hope you don't mind an Aussie amongst you. The group over here in WA is called the ausbandits who I'm sure are all very nice but being such a relatively small group means that they seem to be very close knit and discuss many other things aside from the band. (Not really what I'm looking for) Anyway, catch you again soon.
