Hi Elma,

I find Microsoft's MapPoint to be a superior mapping product. The visual

detail is much better and in my experience they provide better

directions.

Elma I think I just emailed someone else that we will be there if I feel OK

2nd Annual Bandster Picnic

Reminder #1 - The 2nd Annual Bandster Picnic will be on Saturday,

August 9th at Elma's place in Graham, WA. We will start at 11am and

go till about 6pm. It is a pot luck. Bring whatever you want,

enough for your family + a few extras. Whatever people bring - we

will eat. Bring your own drinks, lawn chairs or blankets, before

pictures if you are already banded.

I will have paper plates, napkins, plastic silverware for everyone.

We have the karaoke machine from Splash so we will have a microphone

if needed.

We have space for badmitten if anyone has a set they would like to

bring. Someone asked about bringing pets, and I would prefer not. I

have a couple of dogs of my own and I don't want them getting

territorial with other animals.

My address is 13004 - 278th Street E, Graham, WA 98338. We are a few

miles east of Meridian between Graham and Eatonville. I will post

later how to get here from several different directions so you can

decide the best way to come. I'll also see if I can do a map with

MapQuest of maps and give everyone a link to it.

You can start letting me know if you are coming and how many will be

in your group. I'd kind of like to have an estimate of how many may

show up.

We will be having a clothing exchange so bring any clothes you have

that you want to get rid of. If you have any wire hangers we can use

them too. Any clothing left over after the picnic will be donated to

an organziation that can use them.

Well, that's it for now. More reminders to come as the time gets

closer. If there is something specific you want to know - just ask.

Hi Elma,

Bob and I are planning to come to the picnic from Everett -- We

have a minivan and would be happy to take a passenger or two if

anyone needs a ride.

Bob plans to pick up his blue corduroy jacket -- please don't put

it in the exchange. We will have plenty of other things for the

exchange.

Looking forward to seeing everyone -- and trying on some new duds.
