Guest guest
So help me figure this out, please! I have scheduled my second fill for next Tuesday in Shelton with Dr. Ogle. And now I feel more restricted than I have at any time since my first fill. I did eat a plateful of food at lunch (1/2 cup string beans, lettuce and 1/3# fish, with some lowfat 1000island dressing, and for dinner, a cup of dressed salad, an ounce of cheese and a boca burger (no bun). A handful of carrots for snacks, 4 bottles of propel, and for breakfast an egg, a piece of multi-grain toast and a half-grapefruit. So my quantities are low, and the scale seems to be wiggling down again. . . we'll see how much I can eat over the weekend. I THINK I should go ahead and do it. Then I wonder, am I wasting $300??? Comments are welcome! G. from Olympia 250/220/145 12/8 Dr. Kuri
Guest guest
You'll get many more answers on the SmartBandsters or Bandsters board, since this is primarily a board for events and announcments only. The primary deciding factor in deciding whether you need a fill is your WEIGHT LOSS. If you are eating pretty good band stuff, getting some exercise, and getting in your water and protein, but are still not losing 1-2# a week for 3-4 weeks in a row, you usually need a fill. for more help in deciding, go to the SmartBandsters fils, then go into FAQ - look for Jessie's articel " How to tell if you ar Perfectly Adjusted " . Guest guest
, You seem to be doing great. If I were you I would not waste the $300. Your band seems to be working perfectly. Are you feeling satisfied with your modest meals? We are supposed to be able to eat a reasonable amount of food without pain. People use the word restriction a lot, but I don't feel any restriction at all unless I have swallowed wrong or eaten too much. My band is still helping me to feel satisfied with much less food than I have ever eaten. If you are getting hungry 3 hours after your last meal then you might need a fill but you should also expect to be hungry if you don't eat enough food at your meals. Maybe you are not eating enough to satisfy your true hunger. Good luck!
