Hello everyone,

If you are a member of NWWLS , you have already received a

similar message from me.

I¹m hoping that my following request will cause people to rethink how they

use group lists. I¹m asking that everyone use individual email addresses

when talking about issues that are of no interest to everyone else on this

list.

Please use this address ( ) only to post

messages of common interest to us all. Questions to Jessie about whether or

not you need a fill, notes to Elma that you want to stay on her email list,

messages to a particular member about seeing each other at a soup night or

whatever are of no concern or interest to the rest of us. In fact, they are

very annoying. And because there are so many people on this support list,

these types of messages are becoming increasingly common.

I¹m sure I¹m not the only one who would appreciate a more judicial use of

this group list. Individual email addresses are easily found at our

group site.

We¹re on a wonderful journey together and I wish each of you the best of

luck! Hope to see you at a soup night or support group meeting soon.

Thanks!

Terrey: Since I started this topic, I wanted to respond. We all have

individual email addresses (available at the PNW Bandsters site) that

can be used to say things like, ³Sandy, I¹ll see you at soup night.² I was

just suggesting (hoping, really) that we could use this site to announce

group meetings and talk about our struggles and triumphs, questions and

guidance, hopes and dreams of what is waiting for us when we lose our

weight. With the deluge of personal messages between two people that don¹t

include (or interest) the rest of us, many of us are not reading the

messages or using this discussion group very much anymore. It could be a

wonderful support to all of us if people would keep their personal messages

private and use the group for support. That way more of us could benefit

from the group discussions.

I don¹t have the authority (or desire!) to impose rules on anyone else in

this group. I was just making a heartfelt suggestion, and judging by the

several supportive email messages I¹ve received, many people like my

suggestion and hope people will take it to heart. In respect to all of you

who are tired of this discussion, this will be my last comment on this

issue.
