Guest guest
Just wanted to let everyone know about the weight graph that I've found. You can print your own and instuctions are given for those of us who " need " them. You can choose to chart weekly (I know this is the best way) instead of daily. This visual is just what I need to see my progress. I hope it will be helpful for anyone who might be interested. http://www.muschealth.com/weight/graph.htm
Guest guest
Yes, graphing can be good. However, many would argue with daily weighing. If you're going to weigh daily I recommend spending the ten bucks for Weight Commander. Why? http://www.weightcommander.com/mr.html Besides doing the graphing, it also does a 7 day moving average, so that you can see the general trend, even when you have an " Up Day " for whatever reason. I find that very helpful. Sure, you can do your own calculation on that, but...to me it is worth the ten bucks. No, don't have any connection with them, just a happy customer. dan Tuesday, July 12, 2005, 9:15:53 PM, you wrote: m> Just wanted to let everyone know about the weight graph that I've m> found. Guest guest
With daily weighing, all you are graphing is fluid shifts, not true weight loss. Women, especially, can gain or lose up to 5# a day from fluid shifts. Graphing is fine, but I'd very strongly suggest weighung only weekely. This will give a much truer picture of weight loss. all you are looking for is a gradual downward trend. there will always be times of stalls and temporary slowdown - all to be expected. Band loss is slow and safe, and daily weighing with all the non-weight related fluctuations drives people crazy. Try to focus more on good band habits, good eating choices, good exercise and the other band needs, and the weight will come off as it is supposed to - graphing or not! I found the graph on FitDay adequate for my needs, but I'm sure there are other ones like yours that are fine too. sandy R > Just wanted to let everyone know about the weight graph that I've > found.
