Guest guest
???? what massive doses of thyroid meds are you on? 60mcg of T3 BID only??? Certainly that is very low. you should be on something like Armour. Patch test is very low dose iodine as well. Feelings of impending doom are adrenal. gracia Hello everyone, I admit that for some reason I'm just not absorbing the basics of this list. I don't know why...maybe it's hypothyroid symptoms. I know I'm being silly. I am on 60mcg of T3 bid, and do have some thyroid antibodies. I think I'm mercury poisoned, since as I've done gentle chelation, sleep has improved, energy has improved etc. Yet I still need to be on these massive doses of thyroid. I've heard y'all talking about the patch test, and I ended up doing it about 3 days in a row. The result were these weird racing dreams that made me wake up in the middle of the night to rush downstairs and deal with the impending doom! I almost never get these things. (Actually I got these the first time, I was taking Magnesium Chloride consistently). So taking iodine, and/or MgCL makes for these strange night situations. In this case is the iodine causing my thyroid to ramp up, and I'm getting the weird dreams because my adrenals can't keep up? Because I have antibodies should I not be taking iodine? But isn't the iodine " working too successfully " and I need to tone it down, or is working adversely? I can't figure it out, and don't know if the above makes sense to anyone. Help?!! Guest guest
Hi Ghina, Are you a member of the frequent dose chelation and the natural thyroid hormone groups? Between those two groups and this one, you will find answers to your questions. Some of my issues are being addressed by iodine, others may be handled by natural thyroid hormones. After amalgam removal I plan to begin chelation. Check the FILES section and post your questions, someone is going through or has already been through the same thing you are. I hesitate to mention the natural hormone adrenal group. It is hit or miss with responses to queries I've made there. I've even gotten good information related to thyroid from the frequent dose chelation group. Most of this is new to me, but I'm willing discuss these issues offlist via e-mail. Guest guest
HI , I'm confused about your response because T3 (time-released) is much more potent than Armour. I understand armour is a 4-1 ratio of T4 to T3 while i'm taking pure T3. I thnk that AMA will not really allow anyone to have more than 50 mcg of T3 BID on a long term basis. But you are right I've heard of people taking more than that. Yes I'm thinking there's an adrenal component, thanks for confirming. So does this mean that if I take iodine, that I then need to add cortef or something? I have been afraid to take Iodoral because of the impending doom scenarios. I need a doctor don't I? Anyone recommend one in the DC Metro area? Thanks, Ghina ---------------------------------------------- ???? what massive doses of thyroid meds are you on? 60mcg of T3 BID only??? Guest guest
Hi Orelindel, Yes I am, and about 15 other related boards. I think I'm in overload and just can't absorb any more information. I'm chelating myself with DMSA./ALA and am about to try just ALA alone. It has taken a long time to get here since I was so toxic. I'm doing the low and slow approach. Let's chat! Guest guest
Oh I am sorry Ghina, I was thinking T3 was dosed in mgs not mcgs. Yes the T3 is potent but I think a whole thyroid med is better treatment. then add cortef and iodoral---I think Iodoral is a pretty powerful detoxifier. Guest guest
I can't speak for her but every thing I have read says that you must remove the source of toxin before trying to pull it out or you will get / risk being poisoned more. Mercury loves neuro tissue because it is high in fat and if it is released can relocate. I did Chlorella and Mercurius Viv while removing my amalgams (1 quadrant at a time per week) and then two weeks later started to Chelate with DMSA. Read some of the amalgam books like " It's all in your head " by Hal Huggins, DDS, " Total Body Dentistry " by Mark Breiner, DDS and " Amalgam Illness " by Andy Cutler - he is the one with the most accepted protocol in the mercury /autism world. I am not following his way of doing things but did read his book to understand how it all works. B. Re: Re: A thousand pardons: What is going on w/me?Orelindel Why will you wait until after they are removed. Is there any particular reason you dont start while the process is going on, so to make it a little less convenient for any toxicity to attach somewhere? Just curious...
