Guest guest
According to files 1 tablet iodoral = 2 drops lugols. You can easily get 8 drops of lugols into a capsule. I think it just really amounts to personal preference. Guest guest
I would not want to put 8 drops of undiluted Lugol's in a capsule and swallow it. If I do not dilute my Lugol's sufficiently when rinsing my gums, the solution burns my delicate gum tissue. So, I would be afraid that undiluted Lugol's dumped into my stomach in a gel cap could cause irritation or burns. Guest guest
I don't think you could get it in a capsule anyway. I took my bottle with me camping this weekend, and it got laid over somewhere in transit, and the Lugol's ate away the rubber bulb thingie on the cap. Guest guest
What I do is put my 8 drops of Lugol's in a liter of spring water, along with Celtic sea salt and Magnesium which I understand are two supplements that are recommended when taking Lugol's. The end product is rather pleasant in taste. Love, PamelaAlobar <Alobar@...> wrote: I would not want to put 8 drops of undiluted Lugol's in a capsule and swallow it. Guest guest
Oh, duh - misread that checked baggage. My problem is that it cannot go through x-ray or it deactivates the solution. Guest guest
I don't know if the capsule will hold it, is my point. I think it would just eat it away pretty quickly. But my instructions say that it must be walked around the xray device 6 ft away by the security agent. Not going to happen. I just have to take a 4 day break from chelating. Guest guest
- You can still put the liquid in your bags that you check on. I just did that when I went to Hawaii. BTW, you can also take your rx & OTC meds with you as long as each one is under 4 oz. (I think it's each and not total). Terry > YIKES! Guest guest
,I would call and ask. I never have any problem with taking insulin on board for my daughter. I do have to open her kit and show them what I have. She wears an insulin pump which they don't put through the metal detector either, but she just detaches it and they walk it around.
