Guest guest
costochondritis is a hypo symptom. Are you just taking iodine or Lugols (iodine/iodide)? You might need to increase to 8 drops (50mg) and/or get thyroid meds. gracia Hey,I've upped my iodine from a drop every other day (with kelp on off days) to 4 drops daily, over the course of a week. I also have begun a posture/excersize program for pelvic health, all in the effort to get rid of fibroids. Yesterday was a very physcially active day and the whole day I tried to use my new postures. Well, I'm sore today, especially in the chest and back, and I'm definately feeling some costochondritis pain (first time ever) in my chest, off and on, especially after being still. ow! It could just be the excersizes, but... ? But once I upped my iodine it went away. Sounds like it could be the new postures set it off and it will eventually go away after you've loaded more with iodine. I think it's has for many other women here. Lynn
Guest guest
Hi Gracia, Yeah, I’m working my way up to 8 drops of Lugols, as you suggested. My hypo symptoms are mild and long standing. Perhaps this is just a hypo symptom I’ve never gotten around to triggering. But luckily it seems as though the kinks are working themselves out. I started feeling better this eve, after a more sedentary day and a nice big hunk of crystallized ginger (natural anti-inflamitory). costochondritis is a hypo symptom.
