Guest guest
There may be a lot of other unknown exposure. E.g. flame retardants are brominated. From http://www.ourstolenfuture.org/newscience/behavior/thyroid.htm "Brominated flame retardants are commonly used in a wide variety of products and processes, including plastics, paints, electronic parts and fabrics. Research is now revealing that contamination by several types of these compounds is extraordinarily widespread." Of course we're not ingesting those products, but I suspect we're still getting some exposure from these flame retardants. I wonder if they've gotten in the water. Guest guest
Brominated oils are also in soda's and fruit juices. It helps keep them from getting cloudy. Guest guest
Thanks, ! Very interesting. 4 years. I guess I don't need to worry about my levels still being low at three months. I wonder if he was implying that it takes longer to reach saturation if you have high bromide levels. I wonder what the various factors are that affect how long it takes to reach saturation. 4 years is a VERY long time! Thanks for asking him the mercury question. I'm still very curious about how iodine detoxes mercury. I assume that the way they know that it detoxes mercury is that extra mercury shows up in the urine, more than the baseline levels without iodine. I wonder how much data they have on this issue. It is really a crucial issue. Zoe I had my appt on Thursday and we discussed Iodine. Two things I wanted to share. Guest guest
Bromide salt is placed in water on a regular basis. It is sometimes used as a substitute for chlorine in hot tubs. It is just as bad as chlorine. Lithium bromide was used as a refrigerant in steam air conditioning machines. -- Re: Iodine info I gained at Dr. Brownstein's There may be a lot of other unknown exposure. Guest guest
Of course he does. LOL! It's in his Iodine book. You should read it if you haven't. He doesn't eat much processed stuff. He is a Weston Price doc. It would have had to have come from 20+ years ago if it was. If that was the case it shows how hard it binds to our body. Guest guest
I am thinking like everything your ability to become saturated will depend on your body's ability to move the halogens/mercury out. Some people are great mobilizers and others are not. It depends on your metabolism, liver, kidney, intestines and more I am sure as to whether it moves. Yes the Iodine / Mercury connection is critical for me. It would be nice to know how it does it because I am using some heavy chelators to move the mercury out. My DMPS test will tell me just how bad I am. I have a hunch it will show worse than my hair test showed. Yes they know about the Mercury detox from the urine tests. They do a baseline uirne test and look for the halides and mercury. Then they give the loading test and look again. He told me that they only get so many kits to test the halides (per year) bummer. I really wanted to have the test done. But will be doing the Iodine loading test next month when I have a few more funds. I spent $300 at Dr. B's on Thursday. OUCH! Yes 4 years is a very long time. That's why he told me to tell you not to be discouraged about your status at 3 mos. B.My Ebay Auctions: http://tinyurl.com/o9nqvLIKE SOY CANDLES? Guest guest
Yeah, that’s the problem with most of us now is getting the junk out that we put in years ago. Man, if I knew then what I know now. Thankfully we can detox most of it and clean it out. Wow, how lucky to find him and him be WAP. That’s the first I heard he was a WAP doctor. I think I should read his book. I am currently reading Colpo’s new book on Cholesterol. His will be next. Allyn PRIORITY INVESTMENTS N' KOLLATERAL,INC. ALLYN FERRIS PRESIDENT AFERRIS@... 4548A WEST VILLAGE DR.
