Guest guest
Keep writing to them Fran - several times a day. Write in CAPITALS to show your frustration and anger. Tell them you are a member of an Internet Hypothyroid forum, one where the members are using Armour Thyroid and that you will advise everybody never to use inHousePharmacy to purchase their Armour and to use Internationalpharmacy. Tell them this is killing you and turn on all the emotions you can. Tell them to respond immediately to let you know what you are supposed to do without the promised medication and would they now PLEASE RETURN YOUR MONEY WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT. If that doesn't work, I have no idea what to suggest. Do this, as I said, several times a day and this is one time that you DO have to let them know your emotions. I wish I could help you, but I have very little in myself - and both and I are hypothyroid, though I do get mine on the NHS. One of our members, Emma was in a very similar situation to you and her doctor would not prescribe Armour for her. She too was not getting her order so she went in desperation to her GP and begged him to give her a prescription until her own order arrived. The GP was persuaded to do this, and now Emma is getting it on the NHS. Give it a try Fran. Luv - Sheila Quick update... Tuesday 8th AprilShort version: Despite assurances from Inhouse Pharmacy, my order has STILL failed to appear.Medium version: Thanks to the endless delays now I've run out of meds; so situation very bad. I feel like a total and utter idiot for not sticking with International Pharmacy who have always proved reliable and delivered swiftly.Long version: Absolutely unprintable. Guest guest
I had an order lost in the post with IP and they could not do anything to trace it for 90 days. However they did send me a replacement order. I have just received an order from them which took 7 days. Lilian an update on my situation with In House, they advised me by email on the31st March that a replacement order for the one previously shipped onthe 8th March had been sent and it arrived with me yesterday - allcorrect and above board - genuine article and well packaged etc.
Guest guest
It is more likely to be the postal system than the pharmacies. If some postal worker (and we get all sorts nowadays) thinks there are medicines in the packet, they might think it is something they can sell, if not on the streets to a friend who sells on ebay. Lilian .....mmmm I've just though 'exactly' the same thing with IP Lilian....they assure me the first order will eventually arrive as nothing is totaly lost....however as they supposedly despatched it on the 19th Feb I think I can stop watching the post for it now. This is the second time it's happened.

Guest guest
Does each Head Post Office keep a note of all packages that have been received, before the postman comes to collect them for delivery. If so, you might make enquiries Fran to see if this could have been the case. Luv - Sheila Lawks! Guest guest
Hi all and huge thanks for your kind replies... on top of everything else my Internet connection was unstable yesterday; so I wasn't able to respond before. I received an email last night (as obviously Inhouse work to American time) saying that they would send a replacement order. I've already run out of meds and of course, there's no guarantee that the replacement won't get lost as well, but we live in hope! The idea of having a 'safety' stock pile is a wonderful one but I'm so broke most of the time that I frequently have to leave re-ordering until the very last minute. Not out of choice, naturally, but simply because of financial constraints. For similar reasons, having paid out money to Inhouse I wasn't able to order able to then place a back up order with International. The gamble was that something disastrous like this didn't happen - but it has; so I'm just going to have to face up to it and prepare myself mentally for the ill health which I know will inevitably result. Emma, thanks you loads for your kind offer, I've emailed you off-group to say an extra ta :-)... and cheers too for the tip about heading for the GP to see if that brings any results. I confess I haven't set foot in in a doctor's surgery for more than 4 years, now as my experience of them (a combo of bullying arrogance and blithe prescription of meds which just made me sicker) pretty much sealed the deal when it came to my decision to leave all GPs well alone. The health I've regained over the years has been solely down to the absolutely superb help and advice I've garnered from this group and from hours and hours of extensive research. I totally take on board what you said about how you managed to put your case, and I really would love to have to courage to do so - but ironically the stress and worry brought about by this damn order going astray has me at the lowest point I've been at in more than a year and the thought of it not going well with a GP (i.e. if I end up being berated and bullied again - or end up in a huge argument with them) would just finish me off. If I didn't feel so worried and beaten I would probably have a go... but then if I didn't feel so worried and beaten it would be because my meds had arrived, in which case I wouldn't need to do battle with a GP. Catch 22. Ho hum!

Guest guest
I doubt it, when you consider the thousands of packages going through. A friend of mine was expecting a package of printer ink, but it was delivered whilst she was out. The postman put a note through the door that she can pick it up at the Post Office. When she went to the Post Office to collect it they said they didn't have it. She showed the card but they said they looked but could not find it and they said she could not fill in a lost package form until it had been lost for a few weeks. I think they eventually found it - a week later. Lilian Does each Head Post Office keep a note of all packages that have been received, before the postman comes to collect them for delivery. Guest guest
Happy to hear you have now received your original order from InHousePharmacy , but no idea why you had to go through all this to get it. How about writing to them with your story and asking, under the circumstances, whether they would accept payment from you for the one's they had to send you as a 'replacement' at a later date and explain to them you had to send to another Internet Pharmacy for some as you were desperate, and now, you are finding it difficult to pay for three lots all at once. I'm sure they wouldn't mind you doing this. Now, if any of us run out and desperate, we know where to go ) Luv - Sheila Hi everyone... an update on this saga... Just received the originalorder for Armour from In House Pharmacy. Their label clearly shows theyposted it on the 8th March, as they had advised, but strangley, unlikethe replacement order I recieved, this delivery required a signature. There was also a customs cleared ink stamp on the back dated 8th April, showing that the hold up was not in the UK.So - in conclusion, In House Pharmacy were certainly telling the truthabout having posted the original order on the 8th March and theextraordinary delay has been caused by the various postal serviceshandling the parcel. The thing that is really confusing me though iswhy this original order was sent with a Track and Trace service (andbecame severely delayed) and the replacement was not - which arrivedpromptly. It's a mystery!!!Their web site states it is their policy that all orders are sentrecorded and they are working on a system that will enable you to trackand trace your order via their website, so that will be a help in thefuture.Guess I'll have to pay them for the replacement Armour now, though Ihadn't budgeted for that just yet - especially after ordering the backup from International Pharmacy !!!!! Ugh. Well - that's my stock piletaken care of!Wouldn't it just be SOOOOO much easier if we could all just get thisstuff on a damned NHS prescrption !!!!! Sorry for the cursing ... justmakes me so angry - all this hassle for something that we so desperatelyneed to live a normal life !!! AAAGGGHHH! ..
