Well, those were some of the many reasons we've not been married for

some 25 years. Unfortunately a lot of her stuff rubbed off on our

daughter (mother got custody from a judge who'd never give a sane

father, or any other father, custody, no matter how screwed up the

mother was). Daughter is now clean from meth for almost two years,

after about a decade into that evil stuff. We think we've got trouble

with food and eating....and I assure you that I thank God every day

that I never got into that stuff....as I would have been long dead, as

my daughter almost was.

And as far as I am concerned, if it comes up, it is barfing. I think

this trying to distinguish between different kinds of barfing is

pretty silly, but I know I'll never win that argument with some,

so....I'll let it go.

Dan,

I agree on your barfing point. however, to the newbie, barfing may

just be the old style wretching variety. but, true, a burp that

produces a chunk of food and relief (eventually) counts too,

particularly when you're over the sink sliming away.

Dan, I feel the same way, which is why, since I HATE vomiting, I hate

PB and slime.

Well, as noted, people can call it what they want, I just think that

the whole idea of " cute names " is kind of silly. But I promise not to

say anything about it again. Really.

Dan,

Just trying to belong......

Besides, nothing ever comes up as far as my mouth...just the top of

my throat....as if that matters.....

It was thought up by someone well before Sandy and I were banded

almost five years ago. I don't think we'll ever know. Probably some

" little old lady who was too 'dainty' to say vomit, puke, barf, heave,

do a technicolor yawn, pray to the porcelain god, etc, etc " But lets

not start a list of all the " colorful " or " weird " terms used for

vomiting.

this whole discussion stemmed from the need to clarify for a newbie tht

barfing doesn't have to be head over the toilet, wretching. it

includes PB's. As silly as the terms may be, it seems to be bandster

jargon and thus deserves the clarification for those recently banded.
