Guest guest
What is an "antioxidant"? "An antioxidant is a chemical that halts the oxidation of other chemicals. These compounds, despite their name, do not simply prevent oxidation. Instead, they oxidize first, keeping the oxidizing agent from oxidizing compounds that are more important to proper functioning of a system, as in a cell." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antioxidant Thanks, . Zoe Wikipedia's entry on antioxidants seems like a good start:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antioxidant-
