Guest guest
Hi Chantal, I'm also new here and am expecting to learn more about iodine. My old naturopath when I lived in Germany once said NO iodine for us, that we have too much and he gave us something to balance it out and we were told to not use iodized salt or eat fish. In regards to mercury, you can eliminate this and other metals quite effortlessly with an ionic foot bath (I use an Aqua Chi machine, but there are others). All you do is put your feet in it and it charges your cells with energy causing your body to detoxify through the feet. Mercury will stay a very long time in your body if you don't take steps to remove it. Up to 30 years or longer. Chelation is another possibility but only if you have a well-functioning liver and kidneys. There are also some supplements and homeopathic remedies (Euphorbium comp nose spray for one) for mercury removal but again it will only be as good as your body's ability to detoxify which is why I like the Aqua Chi the best. Wild caught salmon also contains mercury. Have you had your calcium levels checked? Guest guest
Sharon, I had forgotten about the foot baths and they are better than chelation at $35 a pop as opposed to $100's. thanks for the reminder, On 2/19/06, Sharon <hotmocha@...> wrote: Hi Chantal,I'm also new here and am expecting to learn more about iodine. Have you researched the foot bath and mercury thoroughly??? I ask because when I researched something similar a few months back, I found that it didn't really detox much of anything. It LOOKED like it was detoxing because the water changed colors, and the marketing all said that, and the doctor said that, but the research showed that the color change effects could be explained by the oils on the skin interacting with the electric current and that they were unable to find the supposed toxins in the water. It is possible, though, that you are talking about a different kind of foot bath. I would still, however, be highly skeptical based on what I know so far. Guest guest
Good time to cease lurking and jump in. My Name is and I learned about this group from Terry who sits on a couple of my newsgroups. The lack of iodine now seemsmore complicated than just topping up and to that point, I have already learned alot and it has raised some confusion. In terms of foot baths, I am wondering if anyone has explored or had any experience with the " Q " footbath experience " www.q2.com.au. I learned about this recently and have tried one...it is predicated on the notion that the q machine recharges the body's batteries and that one cannot detox unless the body has energy. It is a bit pricey at $3400. vsp On 2/19/06, Zoe & <ZOEA@... > wrote: " In regards to mercury, you can eliminate this and other metals quite effortlessly with an ionic foot bath (I use an Aqua Chi machine, but there are others). Guest guest
Hi , I have not done all the research but I have taken anecdotal recommendations for improving thyroid functioning and Mg was one and iodine was another that would help. I avoid chlorine and flouride (no lipton tea) Get out the mercury. I am searching in my spare time, while trying to keep my life going. I have done one foot bath. Lot's of stuff came out, they said it was fungus. (ew!) However, it fits. I felt quite a bit lighter after the experience. I have no lab reports of before and after. It was a one time free deal. Guest guest
Mercury is bound very tightly in nerves, particularly in the brain. Washing your feet even with solvents, or electric current, is not going to change the mercury status of one's brain... If it were this easy to detox mercury, the parents of the children of the autism epidemic would be soaking feet like it was a new religion! Not that I don't think reflexology isn't valid - or TCM meridian medicine - but removing mercury is not responsible for the resulting good feelings. ....
