That is why I wanted the third fill. That's true of many of us. Remember THE BAND IS A FICKLE BITCH. It will do whatever it wants, when it wants, and lots of time you will not be able to explain it. Many of us find that we're more open or loose later in the day. I can't eat much of anything solid before noon (and get up at 5am). But at night it is usually easy to eat too much, even without grazing. > Even SandyR's instructions in the " Files " portion of this group > mentions the possibility of needing a fill if you can (and I quote): > " 1. " Well, as wonderful and knowledgeable as she is, even Sandy R isn't right all the time or for all people. That isn't any criticism of Sandy, at all. These are just guidelines above that you quote. Some people can eat white bread all the time. Some of us never can. I can in small amounts on some occasions (not that I often try). Some veggies that might be considered fibrous are ok, some aren't, some depend on cooked vs. raw, etc. I can never do pineapple or oranges, but am ok with most other fruits if no skin (it always gets stuck). I can do celery if cut in small pieces (like in tuna salad) but not otherwise. And so on.... > #1-2 and 3 apply to me. #4 does not. > Thanks for the advice though - what you said makes perfect sense. If > I stopped at 3 oz protein and 1/2 cup vegetables I'd be starving > (complete with tummy growling) in a couple hours! > I wish I could unplug the hunger switch - to heck with just turning > it off ! Well, that'll never happen. And if it were unplugged and you didn't have " mind hunger " you'd starve to death...which really is not a good idea. If you think it is, I can refer you to a book about starving to death and how awful it is. -- Best regards, Dan mailto:honu@...

When one person in a relationship changes drastically, it upsets the balance and not all relationships recover.
