Guest guest
If the other one doesn't work, try this http://tinyurl.com/5yuhcr Thanks for the link Ali. Unfortunately having had many arguments with NHS reps over the years I have got nowhere on trying to get mercury free fillings for self and kids on the NHS. The big irony is that most of the NHS people admit they appreciate my concerns and refuse mercury fillings themselves! They say that mercury fillings are all the NHS can afford - a pretty poor argument when you consider the potential knock-on effects on general health! This one is going to run and run. Guest guest
Funny this should come up. I just had my inspection and I need one removing which goes right up through my cap as I need a new crown. I said, oh no, thats mercury isn't it? My dentist said, it is the dentist who is in most danger from mercury fillings and his toxic load of it is still less than the 'safe' area. So he is obviously willing to drill it out. I don't have access to any other dentist (no dentist available at all in this area neither my hubby or my son have one ). I Might have to let him drill it out, much to my detriment, good job it isn't urgent Good info, thanks lotsa luv Dawnx

Guest guest
Dawn -0 you should not go ahead and allow your dentist to "Drill it out" - you are putting yourself at risk of furthering your illness greatly. Please contact Becky at beckydutton@... Did the person from the Primary Care Trust ever contact you about all your medications. If not, telephone and ask to speak with him asap. luv - Sheila Re: Mercury fillings article Funny this should come up.I just had my inspection and I need one removing which goes right upthrough my cap as I need a new crown. Guest guest
Dawn, A number of years ago I had a mercury filling taken out the 'wrong way' (before I knew any better) and I never really felt better from that time on. I suspect the dentist also 'chipped' my jaw (the pain was worse than childbirth). Be really careful about the way you remove the filling. Don't do what I did. I haven't really felt ok since that time which may just be a coincidence, but it seems strange that I felt a lot worse AFTER the filling was removed. Guest guest
Hiya no the guy about the meds has not got back to me, I was wondering if it was a reasonable amount of time to be ringing and asking him what he found out Shiela thanks. I am going to leave that cap on for now, Becky already told me she thought I had signs of mercury illness and that the there were not any mercury free ones in my area. I don't know what I do but I will email her before I do anything, I certainly cannot be doing with feeling any worse. it is a shame this dentist is so adamant that mercury is ok because he is excellent in every other way, you cannot even feel his injections and as i say dentists around here are like rocking horse poop. I am not going back for anything doing at the mo, just going to go for a clean as my gums only stopped bleeding with the B12 about a month ago and my gums are only scoring 2, they need all the help they can get. I wish I really do that there were a mercury free dentist in my area, and one that was actually taking patients, as none of the dentists nearby are. lotsa luv Dawnx

Guest guest
HI Dawn I would definitely telephone him (and today if possible) to find out why he has not got back to you on this URGENT matter. It might be that he is away on holiday, in which case, we will forgive him, but you have put too much work into this and too much worry to draw a line under it all. We need to know, so let us know what he says. Let us know also what Becky has to say, because I am sure there will be somebody in your area who will be able to advise you. People ignore the problem of mercury poisoning and there is so much of it out there not being diagnosed and therefore, not being treated. Mercury poisoning caused through amalgam fillings has a serious association with hypothyroidism. Guest guest
Hi Dawn, Did I ask if your folate level was OK? Low B12 and folate tend to cause similar problems. Current reading on thiamine and all those vitamins needed in 'apparently' low amounts..... My suspicion is aroused when I only seem to respond to quite a bit more than they say is needed....eg folate at 10x the daily requirement thiamine at 5-10x daily requirement.... ....perhaps this set of papers is relevant:- from today's JBC:- http://www.jbc.org/cgi/content/abstract/C800120200v1?papetoc http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18443629 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18374645 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18072940 the above is from the way the bacteria react but it refers to eukaryotes, ie our systems will be somewhat similar... the bacteria in your gut control far more than is realised; no wonder the candida need some control. ....and I also discovered yesterday that the well-known herbicide atrazine can interact with a mercury sensitive site in bacteria leading to plasmids which are translated into other cells/species ie some of the pathogens are interacting with both mercury and herbicides.....not to our advantage. Do they not want to disclose what they know about the herbicidal sensitivity of (or otherwise/resistance) candidida in combination with mercury toxicity. watch this space... Mercury, like other heavy metals, has a tendency to gum up the works in any sulphur containing protein/enzyme. There are few if any proteins that don't contain some cysteine/ methionine. Glutathione is the one particular antioxidant that is badly affected by mercury/heavy metals and its sulphur groups are critical in that respect. Likewise, mercury has been shown to hold onto selenium in a vice-like grip typical of stoichiometric compounds ( ie in a ratio of 1:1 in this case). With the FDA finally agreeing that it's position on mercury was untenable (in amalgams), how long before the entire establishment ~ 'mock theory' is blasted to the winds? As someone remarked recently, why the hidden programme of euthanasia/ or is it merely slavery to the bottom line, irrespective of the effects on the patient? There has been a hidden programme of remediation around crematoria this last few years.....removing the top-soil into large unmarked dumps.....creating diversionary 'parks' to 'sterilise' the mercury contaminated areas. Dairy produce from surrounding farms has been stopped off ( or let through 'on-the-nod' ). Ask your MP what he knows about this programme? No answers??????### best wishes Bob >
