Guest guest
HI There I live in Sydney and next week am going to have my iodine levels chacked by the normal 24 hour urine test they a doctor would request for you. My question is this - is this test accurate? Should I do anything before the test to make it more accurate? Ie should I take a measured amount of iodine and see what type of levels show up in the urine? Thanks for your suggestions, experience gabirel Re: moisture issues - skin I think iodine is making my stretch marks go away! Amazing. Gracia You attribute the skin changes to THYROID. I'm wondering if they could be due to IODINE. 20% of our body iodine goes to the skin. I don't know what it is doing there. But if one of the major characteristics of iodine is its hydrating quality, could it be helping your skin? Zoe I was pleased with that too, I haven't been too appreciative of some of these aging symptoms!!! I also noticed that the dry skin I was starting to get on my legs improved and the heels of my feet. I was really concerned that I had inherited those traits from my mom. She always had scaly skin on her legs and really bad cracked heels, even at a young age. I didn't realize that those could be caused by thyroid. She had hers removed when she was about 20.
