The Myer's book I'm reading talks about the increase in all mucuous

membranes with the introduction of iodine. I would think that bile

could also be part of this equation (just lent my book to my mother so

can't relook at that one)

Myer's did not use potassium iodine with his patients but rather zinc,

magnesium or calcium forms of iodates. Now I'm wondering if prehaps

he's onto something and the amount of potassium combined with the

iodine might be a problem.

I asked Jerry Brunnetti about this and he said he did think the

potassium could be a problem. He didn't know more about it though.

I'm going to send him an email later today about the calcium iodate

and I'll also ask about fat digestion.

Bye

Lynn
