Guest guest
This has probably been discussed here in the past and if it has, I hope you will forgive me for bringing it up. I am fairly new on the iodine group . . . .I have noticed that I have very, very vivid dreams just after I started using Iodoral. They aren't bad dreams -- lot's of flying around in little two seater planes the last few nights. So do you all know or have you discussed -- what is the connection with iodine and dreams? It kinda made me sad to think that when I thought before I was being taught something in a vivid dream that maybe not so much, maybe I just had enough iodine to create a good dream? Thanks! Guest guest
Hi . In real life I would be scared to death to be in a small plane like that one but in the dreams, it's FUN and I have no fear!! :-) Annie/Texas -----Original Message-----From: iodine [mailto:iodine ] On Behalf Of Sent: Friday, October 19, 2007 11:56 AMiodine Subject: Re: Vivid dreams on Iodoral I've been having some really odd dreams lately. Not disturbing, just odd. Or, maybe like you said, vivid! LOL I'd call flying a two seater plane horrifying, though!! Guest guest
Yes my dreams are more vivid and I sleep better since being on iodine. Guest guest
More vivid dreams means that the iodine is strengthening your parasympathetic nervous system. Did you have very vivid dreams when you where young? The companion nutrients for iodine are mainly the ones that help people who are sympathetic dominant. If a nutrient strengthens your parasympathetic system and you are naturally sympathetic dominant, then it will push you more balanced. I am very parasympathetic dominant myself, and can't tell yet what effect the iodine is having that way. It would be interesting if it had the opposite effect on the parasympathetic dominant metabolism. One indicator of parasympathetic dominance is very vivid dreams, often in colour, more frequently than most people would have. Spaciness, and sugar intolerance are other indicators. Guest guest
wow, this is really interesting information. I have been on Iodoral for about a week solid now, 2/2X a day with Vit. C. And I can honestly say I have had more vivid dreams this week. I have always had vivid dreams growing up and as an adult they are there but much more sporadic and for long periods of time I don't dream much. Interesting information! Thank you.
