Perhaps it is detoxing some crapola out of your system.

I noticed that after I started on 75 mgs (from 50 mgs) that I had cloudy urine. This has continued for over 1 week now. Yesterday being the last. Well in the AM I took my normal 50 mg tablet and then at night I couldn't find my pill case so I ended up forgetting to take my other 25 mgs. I took the normal 50 mgs today with breakfast and guess what? No murky urine today. I just took my other 25 mgs as normal with dinner so I am wondering if I will have an issue again tomorrow. It is just too weird. I would think if it were an infection that it would have been there today no matter what I did with the Iodoral but it wasn't. Now I wonder what Iodoral is doing if it is the cause.

Just thinking out loud. Anyone think they might know what is happening?

" Orthoiodosupplementation induces a detoxification reaction in some patients

with high bromide levels7,8, including increased body odor and cloudy urine.

The body odor lasts one to two weeks, but the cloudy urine may last several

months before clearing up "

Seems like a good thing... faster detoxification.

Thank you thank you!! . You are a gem. That makes me feel better. I will plug on! Based on my past history of love for bakery products - consuming them everyday along with buns at Mcs and bread of not so great origin. I would really presume that I have high bromide levels.

I've noticed this while taking iodine, an odd odor, I'm thinking that it's the high fluoride levels that I was exposed to over the past "God only knows how long" period.  I'm also using Dr. Schultze's Superfood formula everyday along with 1200 mg magnesium and all my other usual supplements.  No one else seems to notice it, but I have a very sensitive sense of smell.  At first I thought it was the iron supplement but I stopped taking it for several days and the odor did not decrease.  I'm pretty sure it's the iodine.  I didn't have it until I started the Iodoral.Linn On Nov 14, 2006, at 7:03 PM, wrote:"Orthoiodosupplementation induces a detoxification reaction in some patientswith high bromide levels7,8, including increased body odor and cloudy urine. The body odor lasts one to two weeks, but the cloudy urine may last severalmonths before clearing up"http://www.vrp.com/art/1781.aspSeems like a good thing... faster detoxification..

Interesting Linn. Guess what? I took the other 25 mgs tonight at 6 pm and my urine was cloudy just a few minutes ago. It has to be the cause. It wasn't cloudy all day.

I may have mentioned this before...but my daughter tells me every now and then that she detects a metallic odor from me. I take 25 mg of Iodoral daily. Never had this odor prior to Iodoral. ladybugsandbees <ladybugsandbees@...> wrote: Interesting Linn. Guess what? I've been lurking here for some time, but thought I'd chime in since I have interstitial cystitis and have studied up on urine! LOLCloudy urine could be from puss or blood, bacteria or even yeast or vaginal excretions. I get it all the time. Drinking extra water always clears it up for me.If it persists you may want to have your doctor check for a UTI. Otherwise I wouldn't worry. From what little I understand about Iodine, my gut tells me that your cloudy urine is simply a form of detox sedimentation which is a very good thing!ladybugsandbees <ladybugsandbees@...> wrote: I noticed that after I
