I would imagine that is why some (low adrenal) coffee drinkers can only maintain

their regularity with their daily fix. Too much however, and constipation results.

Its also no wonder that constipation amoung high school students is rising in

conjunction with their soda intake...my son being one of them. He finally made

the connection with his soda, and his late night starbucks outings with his

insomnia, and slow bowels. Caffeine is so chemically similiar I think, that

our production of adrenal hormones slows when it is present in the blood..only

making things worse.

These kids as a result are always looking for a "jolt". They go to horror movies,

they play scary video games, and engage in risky behavior...it's frightening to

see how they are burning themselves down.

I also have the problem with constipation from the Iodoral, but have thought it

might be the

iodine was interfereing with my gut bacteria. Sterilizing the gut!

However, using PT Skin Iosol on by breasts resolved fibrocystic breast disease

(40 years!)

rapidly, both for me and for two friends. I noticed a big difference with the

first 1/2 oz bottle,

and have been using the PT Skin Iosol since then, since it doesn't interfere

with gut transit

time. I have no idea whether I'm sufficiently tanked on iodine yet, but the

absorption time on

the skin on my arms has changed from the initial 45 minutes (!) to 3-4 hours.

from releasing. These drugs are used with IBS patients to stop the gut

spasms that are so painful to them.

Some antibiotics stimulate the release of motilin which is why they

can give loose bowels.

secreted by the pancrease to tell bile to be released. Carbohydrates

appear to increase this as well as whey.

these but exactly what isn't understood. Too much progesterone slows

dwn the gut and estrogen seems to be related to neurotransmitter releases.

can iodine eventually cause the serotonin cells in the gut that

stopped to renew itself? i believe my serotonin cells did get

overstimulated as i got food poisoning a few years back and have been

stuck with horrible constipation alt/diarrhea ever since.
