Guest guest
Okay folks, this is getting annoying. Should i *still* be having symptoms of discomfort after 3 days Bactrim and gobs of D Mannose? The fever and yukky feelings are all gone - Im perfectly strong again; but my (pardon me) urethra is so uncomfortable that I cant stop the little yellow pills by AZO. Any experience here? How long does this discomfort last? Jane
Guest guest
That discomfort always stopped by my second dose of Bactrim (I took 2 per day for 10 days, usually, this was years ago). is there any chance its NOT a uti? Did you ahve labwork? Could it be urinary crystals that are irritating the urethra? Anything that makes your urine acidic, probably. I'm not sure of the mechanism, but there is something excreted when you eat dairy that causes major irritation in both adults and kids (causes bed wetting too). Might be worth an experiment. -- Heidi
